The Scotia Glenville Jr. Tartans football and cheerleading programs are part of the Capital District Youth Football League (CDYFL). We enable young people to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. We teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives.
The Scotia Glenville Jr. Tartans program is run entirely by volunteers. Without you, there is no us. The SGJT Board meets monthly all year round. Come to meetings, volunteer your time. Your involvement, no matter how big or how small, is encouraged and appreciated! Please view the calendar for future meeting dates. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Our league has been designed to allow for all children to participate in football, regardless of size or experience.
Established in 2012, CDYFL is a youth football league for children, with the goal of teaching the fundamentals of the game, while having a great time competing. Each year since its inception, the number of teams involved in the league has increased. We pride ourselves on being an organization backed by our programs school coaches. We feel it is important for our young children to be a part of the school program and learn from the players that they look up at the high school level.
2023 Registration Fees
Flag Football (K-2nd grade): $75 Early Bird Regular Price $100
Junior Tackle (3rd-4th grade): $130 Early Bird Regular Price $180
Senior Tackle (5th-6th grade): $130 Early Bird Regular price $180
Cheerleading-game and/or competition (K-6th grade): $75 Early Bird Regular price $100

The 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm and are held at Lincoln Library
